Senior Creative marketer. Photographer. Author. Artist.
Southern charmer if you think pronouncing "ing" like "in'" is charmin'.
A Platypus of many different worlds.
SAV based physically. Connected everywhere digitally. :)
With the rise of mobile and web technology being analogous to the decrease in viewer attention, it has become absolutely essential to get to the point as soon as possible.
(I present myself in both short-form and long-form to be digested one way or the other knowing that seconds are spent on potentials, while others comprise their lives into one or two places in hopes of a place to call home in their employment)
16 years experienced in a myriad of roles that no one person should have at one time.
Multiple adventures to lands of different cultures.
8 years here. 3 years there. 1 year…couple months…
Re-education into confidence and critical thinking.
I’m a 16-years experienced professional with the vast sea of marketing, branding and visual experiences. My professional career has led me to become a platypus of adaptability to the brands that have defined my life from student, graphic designer, photographer, art director, creative manager, fashion photographer, mentor, contract employee and production artist. The explorer in me has widen career destinations over the years which began with a map within the world of Coca-Cola with global destinations of production and branding spanning 8 years across multi-platform campaigns and traveling thousands of files. The map of Coca-Cola is far reaching in these known global waters where anchors have joined in many ports strengthen longevity of their own sailing life-style experience.
After getting a taste of sea-legs, I jumped from one ship to another joining another vessel in multiple roles of the world's once largest bridal fashion designer. My inclusion helped route a new courses based-off of past worlds experienced into directions ultimately lost at sea at the end of my 3 year tour. When that ship sunk by captains not I, I found myself swimming to the Port of Contract to rebuild a life by reimagining how saw blades and tools were experienced. A hard life contract is. No paid vacation. No sick days. But it pays the bills and provides nourishment as we plan future expeditions and journeys. Rough waters depending on the forecast is.
From there short opportunities of expansion arise. A ship looking to take on new crew and set course in Ruby lands. Pay not what it should be and found myself short-changed in the end, but the opportunity to travel to lands of Ruby showed promise of stability and course correction with a fleet in several locations. Alas, mutiny on the bounty and I was cast overboard into the sea. Washed back onto familiar shores of Your; history lessons as I began to reconnect the principles of “Who are U?”
3 years learning that question’s answer and prepared to set sail again knowing how to swim in worst-case scenarios. I’m looking for both a captain who sees what potential in navigation I have yet to realize as much as I am looking to pass on my knowledge to others looking to build their own ships. I life at SEA is where I come from in experience.
I’ve gotten to where I am today from both belief and faith. That comes from the belief of my first mentor to hire me outside of college to every other captain I’ve worked for since. Faith factors in the aspect that although not traditionally trained for every challenge faced, my tenacity has lead me to not only come up with unexpected solutions, but the ability to sell my beliefs and ideas to others based on passion, data and brand understanding. I believe the further I’ve gone in my profession the more humble and considerate I have become to how I would approach the sailing navigation of others. We sail together and I consider any vessel I am in friendly, but I am aware of pirates in the waters.
What I can prove though in regards to this website is that you will find both my professional works as well as equal parts of my outside passions that have come from a mentality that has brought brand evolution and success. My own map of my world explored or yet to be fully imagined. Treasure there in passion and care. Never intended to be a solo journey as home is always going to be something to strive and long for even at sea.
It is my core philosophy that you have to understand the past in order to achieve anything new.
This website is my past and present with hints of a future.
Where do we go from here?

I write on my credentials: Senior Creative imagine’er
Imagine’er (ImAjin’ur) definition: Imagine a job where it is not just a job, but a passion expressed.
The idea is built around understanding and growth that, at the end of the day, we still exist in who we are outside the purview of indentured servitude.
Structure put in place to allow life outside of work and having that not become our sole identity.
Our passions are our lives.
Our lives reflect who believed in us and who held us back.
We build each other or neither would succeed.
We represent who sustains us knowing it is a 2-way street and I don’t think Human Resources is going into all facets of everyday life, salaried or not.
Either way, I imagine’ers all have their masks at one point or another to display of possibilities and limitations and possibilities of landscapes.
