I approached this class as an online student and was looking for something outside the photography realm within my course curriculum. Taking the years of workplace experience since graduating from The Savannah College of Art and Design, I wanted to hone in on the business/thought process that all creatives are required to adapt to even before setting foot in the work place.
As creatives evolve their positions, they are required to wear many multiple hats and learn skillsets that were once specialized and separated. To explore the breakdown of that process and how to creatively approach it lead to some interesting studies of influence within my time studying in this class. The business side of myself is important to the survival of any creative within the world where copyrights/patents/trademarks are to be protected at all times.
As my concepts of Transformative thoughts and leaderships are my own property, I will not be sharing the projects I worked on and explored on this site. It is an interesting humanistic trait of myself and others to critical think solutions to things or to approach problems in creative solutions. I even copywrote this quarter in particular to distinguish myself on when things became of high proprietary nature and when opened doors lead to pipelines in industries.
It is with sad regret that due to reasons beyond my control, life took over and I had to withdraw from this class for the quarter with the idea of I’ll try again next quarter picking up my education. As things get weighed out and decisions not of my own occurred, I was withdrawn from studies at The Savannah College of Art and Design, thus ending “My time at SCAD”.
Thank you for following my education process on this thread. It has been a pleasure to share with you enthusiasm, excitement of prospect and to grow into new directions not expected from me being typecast one way or the other. It is with a heavy heart that I explore what I can with new positions and new hurdles everyday to continue to grow into the person I am supposed to be.
